PRIDE PARADE 2026
Sunday, July 12, 2026!!!
Our float theme is "Dance for Love". Please fill out a form below so I can email you when we get our staging time and color for you to find us the day of the parade.
We will have several different teams all dancing/marching/walking/pole dancing/wings/etc. to the same song at the same time (we have a very fun mash-up put together- click the play button).
If you want to be a part, in any capacity, please fill out the form below.
The pole is privately owned and at dancer capacity.
We should have a few riding options available for those who can not make the full parade route.
As always, feel free to email me for any questions or fun ideas you have!
DETAILS:
The parade starts at 11 am. If you are marching/dancing with us, make sure to arrive no later than 10 am.
The parade line up will be in the parking lot of Bellingham High School on the corner of Ohio and Cornwall. Please see the map below.
We will have access to restrooms on the Bellingham High School campus, next to the parking lot.
What to wear:
Whatever you feel comfortable in that is bright, fun, happy, sparkly. No amount of glitter, accessories, or make-up is too much. Put it all on! For photo ideas from last year- scroll to the bottom of the page.
Remember sunscreen and comfortable shoes! The route is not long, but dancing and marching on concrete is hard on the feet.
Where to put my stuff/phone/water bottle:
There should be room in the truck for any extra items, but try to come with as few items as possible or plan for a way to wear your phone or water in a small backpack, side bag, or camelback. The parade is constantly moving and you will not have a chance to stop and open the truck to get a water drink or grab a phone. The last few years the parade lasts about 30 minutes. We will bring a few spare waters for participants and in past years parade helpers have also handed out waters during the parade. Someone always forgets a coat, water, or item with me, so try to keep everything on your person.
The Parade Route has changed:
Yes, it is different from past years. Look below for the full map. We will be staging in the parking lot of Bellingham High School, marching down Cornwall, and joining the festival at the Market Depot in front of Rumours. Try to car pool- this route change means that parking will be a bit tight near the staging area, especially near a church on Sunday morning.
Our route this year is mostly flat, with a slight incline as we turn up onto Chestnut. If you have members of your group that prefer not to hike up the hill, they will be able to turn off on Holly where Worn Again Thrift is, so they can go up to Railroad and head south to the festival.
It is FREE to Join!
Yes, of course it is. If you want to make a donation to help cover the cost of gas, decorations, the trailer rental, etc. that would be wonderful, but it is not required. We are just so excited you want to dance with us.
There will be practices.
