This is our first year putting on this grassroots event. If you wish to teach, be a back-up teacher, or be a part of this event please email Jessica at bellyhamdance@gmail.com.
We hope no one feels left out and if all class positions are full (see the schedule) let us know if you are interested in being in a larger undertaking next year.
We hope to make this event even grander and to have a teacher performace showcase.
Schedule of Classes
100% of Proceeds go to Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Services (DVSAS) of Whatcom County!
These amazing dance instructors have donated their time and energy to help this much needed local organization.
Each class is "pay what you can," DVSAS will be present to collect funds.
All ages and abilities are welcome to every class!
All classes are located at COF&- located in our downtown Bellingham, WA (1209 Cornwall Avenue).

Saturday, March 7th, 2026 Schedule of Events
7:30-8:30am - Angela Sebastian - Meditative Movement Improvisation (A meditative movement improvisation class that invites you to slow down, tune in, and let rhythm guide you. Through gentle, rhythmic exploration, you'll recharge your body, and mind, moving intuitively to reconnect with breath, sensation, and flow).

9:00-10:00am - beginner/all levels class, foundDANCE - Foundations in Contemporary Dance with Soleil Chappelle.

9:00-10:00am - Isolate & Ignite! with Layla Jasper - Ignite your confidence in this trauma-informed dance workshop! You will learn and practice isolations of the hip and chest. You will have the opportunity to fell embodied into collaborative choreography. All bodies and levels are welcome.

10:30-11:30am - Beginning Belly Dance with Mylee Francisco

12:00-1:00pm - All levels cardio funk GROOV3 class with Christine Engelfried

1:30-2:30pm - Swing Dancing - Connection and Improvisation with B'ham Hop (Learn a system that social dancers use to communicate with one another, so that we can create spontaneous joy with our partners on the dance floor). No partner required.

3:00-4:00pm - Groove Dance Party with Dancing Dana Carr
